Warranty
How we stand behind every order, from manufacturer-backed equipment to instruments and consumables that should arrive in perfect condition.
Last updated: June 2026
Every product we ship should arrive ready to perform. This page explains how warranty coverage works at Eli Dental, the difference between manufacturer warranties and defect-on-arrival protection, and exactly how to make a claim if something is not right.
Eli Dental supplies dental professionals and clinics across the United States. While we are a distributor rather than the original manufacturer, we treat warranty support as part of the service. Our team helps you navigate coverage, gather what you need, and reach a resolution as quickly as possible.
Two kinds of coverage
It helps to understand which type of protection applies to your purchase. Most orders fall into one of the two categories below.
Manufacturer warranty
Equipment and many powered devices carry a warranty provided by the original manufacturer. Terms, length, and what is covered are set by the maker and travel with the product.
Defect on arrival
Instruments and consumables are covered by us against defects present when they arrive, such as damage in transit or a manufacturing flaw found on first inspection.
Equipment and manufacturer warranties
Larger equipment, handpieces, and powered devices are backed by the manufacturer that produced them. Coverage typically protects against defects in materials and workmanship for a defined period, and the specific terms vary by brand and model. Any documentation, registration cards, or warranty details included with your shipment should be kept with your records.
If a covered piece of equipment fails, you do not have to manage the claim alone. Contact us first and our team will help facilitate the process with the manufacturer, including identifying the right warranty channel, confirming eligibility, and coordinating repair, replacement, or service where applicable.
Instruments and consumables
Hand instruments, hygiene and sterilization supplies, restorative consumables, orthodontic items, and implant components are covered against defects on arrival. If an item reaches you damaged, incomplete, or flawed, let us know promptly so we can make it right. To keep coverage valid, please inspect shipments on receipt and report any issue as soon as you discover it. Sterile and single-use products that have been opened or used cannot be returned for reasons unrelated to a defect.
How to make a claim
Filing a claim is straightforward. The more detail you send up front, the faster we can resolve it.
- Reach out by contacting our team, by phone at 718-500-1045, or by email at orders@elidental.com.
- Include your order number and the name of the affected product.
- Attach clear photos of the item and, where relevant, the packaging and any visible damage.
- Describe what went wrong and when you noticed it.
Once we receive your claim, our team reviews the details and follows up, usually within one business day. For manufacturer-warranted equipment we coordinate with the maker on your behalf; for arrival defects we arrange a replacement or resolution directly.
